About Me
I was born in Port Townsend Washington and am a Pacific North-westerner through and through. I attended Whitman College in Walla Walla where I majored in theatre. A lover of Shakespeare and history, one of my highlights was studying classical acting in London at the British American Drama Academy.I have been in Seattle for three years performing on stages throughout the city.
These days I put my classical text work to good use in a series called: Dacha Dice, where actors learn the entirety of a classical text and the audience rolls a die to determine who plays which part. To date I have memorized and performed all of Hamlet, As You Like It, Pride and Prejudice, and Romeo and Juliet. I have experience in clowning, physical theatre, devising, improv, and theatre for young audiences. I have a particular interest in theatrical experiences that bring the audience into the story.
In addition to acting, I am a producer and the Director of Development with Dacha Theatre in Seattle, WA.
